Ultra-Realistic Paper Craft Motorcycle

That's the Yamaha MT-01, a concept power cruiser that got motorcycle enthusiasts atwitter. But take a closer look at the photo above: that's not a real bike - it's actually an ultra-realistic paper model of the motorcycle!

And yes, you can download the paper craft data and assembly instruction: Link - via Vector Vault, Thanks Adam!

I'm pretty sure William Gibson has mentioned bikes with ultra-light paper frames in a few of his books. This is the logical end of that process, a bike with a paper frame, paper engine, and paper wheels.

That's maybe not so crazy...nanopaper may be the next big thing.

Thanks for posting this one.
I am crossing my fingers that some Neatorama member will actually be ambitious enough to create one.

Personally, I lack the patience.

Amazing structure.

Wasn't it the bike courier's bicycle that was made of paper?

I forget the name of the actual novel...hang on I looked it up, it's virtul light.

Also I am fairly sure that the bike in the article is a Beull, as it has the in line V engine from a Hardly Davidson.

Nopwe, it is a Yamaha MT-0, which is weird as it so looks like Beull.
