I hope this is true. As it turns out, the Chinese “sweet and sour pork” stamp was NOT. I first saw the story on the ananova news site, and posted it at Metafilter. But after a bit of research, I was disappointed to find out it was a rumor/myth. I even had a Chinese friend of mine purchase me a commemorative set – which included the alleged “scratch and sniff” stamp. Which I scratched, and it didn’t smell like anything.

i hope they make a skunk scratch and sniff stamp….those were always my favorites..

I can’t wait until someone tries to mail a letter with a stamp smelling of marijuana, cocaine, or explosives.

I think the last thing I need from mail is it smelling of food. I wonder what the obvious smell for spam mail would be?
