    How much is gas in California? Because I have a hard time believing it's much more than it is here in Alaska (last i checked it was $4.45/gallon here)

    So, what are California's redeeming qualities? Sure, it's pretty but every time I think of it, I also think of the aforementioned gas prices, housing prices, earthquakes/fires/mudslides...

    I'm assuming by California the blogger just means the popular cities. Like NY there's tons of places that are affordable.

    Subtly racist and homophobic - which would have been fine if it wasn't just barely funny and awfully written. 8 makes no grammatical sense and 20 doubles the if unnecessarily.
