I know a guy who proposed to his wife by getting down on one knee, pulling out a ring and saying, "Join me and together we will rule the universe."

Their wedding was not exactly themed, but he did convince her to use the Star Wars award ceremony processional as their wedding recessional.

I'd probably say no to a Star Trek wedding, but I'd consider a Star Wars one. I could imagine walking up the aisle to the sound of the cantina band...
Maybe I'm taking this too far... U_U
Ah well. I know a couple who had a giant Renaissance themed wedding at an old castle where everyone dressed up and they had a big banquet at the end with roast venison... that would be quite cool too I think ^_^

Definitely a staged publicity shot, not a real wedding. No way the hot blonde is going to dress up in Star Trek duds to marry some dork.
