He's on display in one of the trophy rooms of the Payne Whitney Gym on Yale's campus. Yale still has a Handsome Dan. As the mascot bulldogs get too old (or too dead) to attend football games, a new one is christened with the name. The original Handsome Dan is stuffed and mounted.
