I saw it in NYC, the front few rows were covered in plastic and called the “Splatter Zone.” It was awesome. At one point they were literally throwing fake blood on the audience.

I LOVE IT!
I wish musicals would get more creative with their advertising like this! It’s usually just shot of the main character and the title. Or some arty black and white shots (I’m looking at you Chicago). The Lord of the Rings poster could have been so much more interesting, but they went for boring character shots. They didn’t even have a tagline. The same goes for Avenue Q.

Also EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL? Okay…
