Deseeding a Watermelon

If you’re having a Memorial Day picnic today, you probably won’t see this in time, but the summer is long. Instructables has directions for cutting your watermelon in a way that makes it easy to remove most of the seeds. I think it may take a bit of practice, but that just means more watermelon! This would be useful… if I could find a watermelon with seeds! I’ve been looking, but haven’t been able to find one; they’re all seedless now.

I don’t mind eating seeds. It’s good for the intestinal transit :D

OR you could save lots and lots of time by simply spitting the seeds out. holy common-sense, batman!

Exactly mooncake. I don’t understand why people complain about the seeds but I bet the majority of them don’t mind sunflower seeds.

You had me excited, I thought you found a way to get all the seeds out of the watermelon before I cut it.

Bah, just don’t care the seeds. They’re just a minor source of nutrients :) it’s not like there’s going to grow a tree out of your stomach if you eat them…
