As a Russian citizen I can tell you smth about those dances. Men on the video are not simple soldiers. This is one of the military dance band, they dance famous "cossack's" dances. It is an old tradition to have military clubs, where tallanted soldiers could dance and sing traditional(you could say even folk) dances and songs, not only in USSR,but in Russia nowadays. Oh, you should find some video with cossack's chorus, it is cool too. P.S sorry for my english Guys, stop talking about the cold war and chechens :) ).
