    That is seriously awesome. I didn’t see in either the wiki or article what stroke she uses, so I’m guessing it’s up to the swimmers? Either way, I’ll be rooting for her.

    I was amazed at the event itself. I have all the respect in the world for anyone who can swim eight miles, much less with just one foot!

    I’m not sure I can swim 80 feet, let alone 8 miles.

    not to take away from how impressive it is, but if it’s 10K, it’s 6.2 miles.

    Miss Cellania - no worries - I didn’t learn the conversion until I started running 5K and 10K races.
