And, uh, Barbwire, ...you're fine eating fly eggs in your banana so long as it's still ripe and they haven't hatched? I've never seen fly eggs under banana skin and they would be visible. Now, fruit flies like to lay eggs on decomposing fruit; perhaps that's where your were coming from?

I usually eat 2 bananas at once or make banana sandwiches. I eat about 4 sandwiches at once and I'm not fat! I used to be chubby though, but my mum called it puppy fat.:P

Sometimes he's too full after the 1/2 banana (usually used to top him off after the rest of the meal) and sometimes he just gets bored of it.

We just use a ziplock though, or leave it exposed, then cut off the 1/4 inch of dry area before using the rest.

this is a silly product, man, i'm with you. i watch my calorie intake, and i've never thought "i can't eat this whole banana."
