Why such cynism? It might be good, we’re talking X Files here not Indiana Jones. They haven’t cast Shia LaWhatever.

$75 for babysitting?!? Is this why I always have to put up with screaming toddlers & babies with their families in R rated movie theaters?

Maybe I’ve fallen foul of the immense power of suggestion, but I’ve literally just finished watching season 5 and the first movie and was thinking - “Wow wouldn’t another x-files film be cool”

The X-Files is one of the only shows I really dug. Though they did abuse the fans during the last couple of seasons. This one’s gonna be a monster of the week one too. I’m so there.

WHoa, back up the train! 75$ for a babysitter?? If that’s what you get for spending an evening at someone else’s house to watch their tv and play with their kids, then I am a shmoe for keeping a day job.

Love the x-files when it was first out.. then they started those indept character studies in each episode. But, i must say i’ve seen them all.

    they need a Farscape movie.

The original x-files, on the small screen, had a creepy claustrophobic feeling that can not translate onto the big screen, imho. It’s too big!

I so want them to clear out the lingering questions that were in the series and in the last movie. Because gosh darn it I want to see this.

Glad to hear they’re doing it, I just hope its not as shameless as some of the recent sequels like Fantastic 4, and Spiderman.

X-Files The First Movie was on our local FOX channel last Sunday. After one TV critic (yeah, yeah: citation?) suggested that although the Truth Is Out There, the X-Files series was doomed by the Laws of TV never to find It (it would mean the end of the series For. Ev. Er). The best that X-1 could do for entertainment with plot pertinence was to give Scully the up-shot opportunity when she slapped the bee bottle on the table at her disciplinary board hearing. BAM! Take that, Review Board. You’ve been X-Filed! Zzzz.

[Huh? "A bee in a bottle? Re-open the X-Files. We need to know how the bee got into the bottle."]

Somtimes I used to scream in my sleep after watching X-files. Another movie? My wife will be happy ;)
