Magnificent work, Richard. I am assuming these antlers are off the forest floor. You must have a great deal of patience. I am so surprised it only took you 8 months to put together such a large bear. Kudos and keep up the wonderful work. Might show some of that around Northern Minnesota, especially the bears.

Your bears are totally awesome,do you sell them? If so, how can I purchase one. You have an amazing talent. I collect bears and would love to have one of these for my collection.

Your bears are just beautiful. I collect bears and only bears are allowed in my house. I have been counting and photographing for 5 years to get into the Guinness Book or World Records and am finally almost done. I would love to have one of your pine needle bears in my collection. You have done really extraordinary work and what a wonderful way to recycle.
Keep up the great work and let your creative juices keep flowing. Bye the way Thomas is wrong about bears being dastardly etc. We encroach on their territory and burn down their habitate, not the other way around.
They are not a threat to our way of life, we are a threat to them. Anyway, Richard they are wonderful. Thanks for the treat of seeing exceptional artistry.

Awesome work Richard! I would like to see an explanation of what's under the pine needle pelt, a wood frame covered with wire?
Keep up the good work!

Wow!! neat work... I visited the Grand nationals rodeo a couple months back in San Fran and saw an artists work being featured there, he worked with driftwood! there was a life sized Grizzly bear, a life sized Bull, and a couple others. I picked up a card and his name is Matt Torrens, www.matttorrens.com really worth a peek if you liked this.

That doesn't look like Richard Carpenter. It's not him. Can he sing? I didn't think so. Does he have a ticket to ride, or a wonderful parade? Hah.

Amazingly devious. Bears are a threat to our way of life, and they want our honey. Glorifying bears will lead to a generation of children trying to make friends with these dastardly killers.
