Ha..this looks like crappy Vegas politics and I doubt we’ll ever get the full story. What was included on Neatorama..or even in the CNN headline/majority of the article..isn’t really justification for the charges..the causing mistrials would be but that was glossed over. Yay journalistic integrity.

Parker- Check the Las Vegas Sun, or Las Vegas Review Journal, they have plenty of articles on this judge’s misconduct. She’s *still* fighting case from San Francisco where the courts there ordered her to pay up for land she owns, but since she’s decided she’s a judge too, she shouldn’t need to pay it, so simply refuses to pay. She’s also had her private guards smuggle in weapons past security checkpoints, repeatedly stopped trials for any reason she felt like…

Heck, I can’t even remember the whole list. It’s been a running joke in Vegas for awhile ever since she was kicked off the bench and so many of these little things came to light.

She is like a female Jaba the Hut. Just plopped wherever - with a gavel in her hand, oxygen tank, probably cigarettes too, and her pet ‘houseboy’ on a leash. She just throws anyone into her pit. Yuck! Those who are sentenced go on to be the bar backs or to be the set coordinators for Cher.

@ James. Def will check that out. It seems to be the time for anyone to become a judge..even the crazies (i.e. Judge $54 million CrazyPants)

@Parker I just checked out the RJ archives with a search for her. The second story: Her lawyer in a civil suit (Former workers for her suing her for defamation) has dropped her case… because she refuses to pay him.

Yeah, I agree that it seems anyone’s getting to be a judge lately.

Well, another one headed for homeless shelter in a couple years.
She is totally deranged and never should be in a position such as she was. With any regard to the constitution she will not get the judgeship back.
Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely.

In this case she needs to pass a psych exam before continuing with any litigation. However, the government doesn’t have the right to order one.
Maybe we should allow the bailiff in question use her as his slave for a change.

This is nothing. In Masachusetts the judges dress up like queens, go to gay bars, and get nailed for DWI.
