Dave Chappelle's (NSFW) "Wrap-it-up box!" is my favorite spoof commercial in this list of the 50 Greatest Commercial Parodies of All Time on Nerve.com. It's a great post - they've tracked down and embedded the video for all 50 of the parodies. Saturday Night Live appears to lead the pack in terms of volume. Who else misses Dave Chappelle? I really miss that guy. Can we please get more Dave Chappell in our lives. I know he was stressed out and living a life that wasn't himself, but he sure did make a lot of fools laugh. Funniest person ever.

I feel so bad for Chappelle. He is so clearly "wounded" and seemed so unhappy after his disappearance/reappearance. I hope that these past couple of years at home alone with his wife and kids and the rest of the family has given him the ability to work through the issues that were causing him so much pain.

It's not like he went mad..he simply chose to relax with the money he made and enjoy it. It's sad greed has become the norm and not making more when you already have millions is bizarre.

Unfortunately, I think he did "go mad," or at the very least suffered some sort of emotional breakdown. It was very, very sad to see - someone so smart, so talented, capable of creating so much joy for so many - so desperately unhappy. I hope and pray that he's been able to work through his grief over these past few years. I don't care if he never performs again. He deserves to be happy and sane.

As for Chapelle, I liked his earlier stuff. Just for Laughs and Robin Hood: Men in Tights.
