Dr. Arthur Dunec, a dentist in Toronto, Canada, has a sense of humor: his office has the sign "Sorry We’re Open" to welcome his patients!

    Yeah, those are pretty popular in California, I guess. The pizza shop across the street has one, for example.

    Do we really need this?

    I once had a tooth pulled and afterwards the dentist jokingly says... "Oops, wrong one".

    Cracked himself up... I was not amused.

    I believe another word for a dentist AND dental hygienists with a 'sense of humour' might be: Sadist

    There's a Mexican restaurant close to me that has a similar sign.

    haha, i'm living in Toronto and haven't seen this sign, but I do enjoy other dentist office signage in the city. My favourite is the dentist on Dundas just west of Bathurst who has a neon sign of the mirror that goes your mouth to see the back of your teeth. The door pulls on the door are teeth too.

    The Magnolia Diner in Austin has the most well known of these signs.
