Pretty cool, yet not very smart. I wonder how many people will injure themselves imitating this guy.
I suspect your average superhero guy might request the activation wrist-action to be a bit more macho.
Fists of fire!!! verses a “Flaming Wave”.
Once perfected… I can see this being useful for answering your door on Halloween, barbecues or removing leaves from trees before they come down in autumn.
Out of his mind and into the fantasies of kids picked on by bullies everywhere.
Reminds me of the video of the guy handling a ball of fire, saying it was completely safe… and not mentioning that his hands were coated in fire retardant.
i half-expected the fuel to explode taking off whatever body part it was nearest.
Guy 1: Pardon me sir do you have the time?
Guy 2: Why, yes I do! It’s time to fry! >:3
Guy 1: Aieeee!
Thank you, flame thrower guy, for inspiring some random person who will be on next week’s AoTS Epic Fail.
Awesome.
What a dink. Funny thing is, the flames in the movie wouldn’t have been done anything like his setup. Probably a stuntperson would have refused to be wired into something that dangerous-looking.
Other than that, he could have filmed something more interesting than burning a plastic cup – maybe going after squirrels – take that!
@kid icarus
There’s almost no way that the fuel would explode. There’s not really a way for the flame to reach the can. Same principle as any lighter.
i want a way to shoot lightning now. get to work on it, internet!
