		<description>Aww, fireflies are among my favorite things ever.  When even the blasted -bugs- can light up, you just -know- the universe has gotta be pretty darned magical.  I'm also THRILLED to learn that synchronously-blinking fireflies have been found in the Congaree Swamp, that's near enough to me that I'll -have- to make a trip out there this summer.

I only wish -I- were bioluminescent, too!</description>

		<description>Inkedgal: I love lightnin' bugs! I used to take my son to Blanco State Park here in Texas, just so we could watch the fireflies. Who needs TV when there's better entertainment to be had at the riverside? (And it's ad-free, too!) :-) 

Now that I live in a more arid part of the state, I miss my "evening show". Ah well, there's always camping trips...
