World’s Most Expensive Ice Cream Sundae

By Alex in Food & Drink on Apr 25, 2008 at 6:04 pm

The Three Twins Ice Cream shop in the Oxbow Public Market in Napa is selling the World’s Most Expensive Ice Cream Sundae for $3,333.33 (a banana split made with syrups from three rare dessert wines, served with an ice cream spoon from the 1850s. If you order a day ahead, they’ll have a cellist perform while you eat).

But if the World’s Most Expensive Ice Cream Sundae is not glam enough, you should try their “The World’s More Expensive Most Expensive Ice Cream Sundae”. For $60,000, you’ll get ice cream made from the disappearing glacier from Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa!

There’s a million ways to make money off the global warming cult. This guy is just a smart businessman.

I think Brewster’s Millions would be a real breeze nowadays.

At least a ‘most expensive’ food without jewelery in it.

I like the irony of the environmental contribution when the travel to Mt K will surely not be CO2 free…

Scientists in Antarctica occasionally drill down into the ice cores and serve snow cones and drinks made with million year old ice. All that, and they get paid to be there, too.

Uh… Just because a country’s inflation rate is high, doesn’t mean it is expensive. Anyone who understands simple Economics will prove this post is pretty much stupid.

I wonder if the ice cream is worth it…

I wouldn’t want to eat glacier ice. It sounds unsanitary. There are probably dead bodies underneath or something.

Pretty interesting that in doing this they’re actually adding to what they’re trying to fight. Airplanes pollute the shit out of the skies as well and do their part in the global warming.

Wow, I only charge 20,000 for my ice cream. But its made from nothing but frozen baby tears.

So we’re going to save the glacier by eating it? How does THAT work?
