Heh saw this a while ago an it is pretty cool…but ridiculously slow! Anyone else think that people who put art on lattes are on the same level as people who paint shamrocks into pints of Guinness? Dara O’Briaian says we’re allowed to stab them in the eye with a fork.

Based on the title I was expecting a cheap and tasty solution to printer ink. Oh well.

How can you not respect a person who wastes time and money creating frivolous robotic devices? To me this is a class of art unto itself.

Does it work for hot chocolate?

If you steam your hot chocolate milk, then I’m sure it’d be about the same. Oh, and you can’t stir it, so if you’re using powder, you’d probably have to give it an espresso-ish consistency.
I can do the little hearts, but I’m not good enough to do the flowers yet. Yay me.

This is something my husband would come up with. He recently turned an old brownie camera into a solar powered flashlight. Everything in our living room is from the 1940’s, just repurposed for modern day uses.

Useless as that is, I feel a personal need to defend the shamrock on the Guinness. Perhaps its just my love of Guinness, or the fact that the shamrock can be done without taking any more time than it normally takes to pour a Guinness. Either way, I’m for it.

I don’t really care for coffee. I do like it better when things are handmade without robotic devices though.

This will probably catch on, simply because no one can have anything creative and natural, it all has to be picked apart and created by something non-human. Plus, OF COURSE they used it to do a starbucks logo. Sheesh.

LOL. To explain myself…I want one because it is so just plain silly and the coffee would be cold by the time I get it. Is this a ‘Heath Robinson’ device or is that something else?

Oh this is stupid. Over 2 minutes to put a corporate logo on top of something that:
A- probably would not be looked at anyway
B- is just going to be ruined with a stir stick less than 2 minutes after it’s created
and C-is going to be consumed seconds after the stir stick ruination.Stop screwing around and give me the %$@!*^# coffee already! NO TIP FOR YOU!
