Seems like a great idea to me! I can’t count the number of times at Thanksgiving dinner that half of the family wanted hot tea and the other half iced.

Pouring hot tea into a pitcher of ice typically results in lukewarm, extremely watered down tea. Flash-chilling the tea would require a fire-extinguisher.

@bean- I swear it doesn’t. I’ve tried these. The ice brings the hot tea to equilibrium quickly, and the tea is brewed strongly enough to account for being watered down.
