Really? This seems as pointless and boring as walking into a post office and taking pictures of boring people doing boring things. I mean, I can’t think of anything I would want to see less than post office workers at work. How depressing! And to waste money on cameras and developement! For shame sir!

I certainly love this idea! I find it a miracle sometimes how something sent from Berlin to south Germany merely takes 12 hours to be delivered and I often wonder how many and what kind of people are working hard to bring my letter from A to B. Nothing depressing or boring about it at all in my opinion.

To what end?
This would be a complete and utter waste of time. Would postal workers really want to give people the impression they have the time to waste on pointless efforts like this when they should be sorting and delivering mail?

“To what end?”
To make life more interesting, that’s why; as silversand says, I know absolutely nothing about the postal carriers that deliver my mail and I personally think it would be pretty cool to see a package’s trip across the country

I agree with silversand and plainswalker75, this is a pretty cool idea and certainly doesn’t need any more justification than “to make life more interesting” … People -are- fascinating, both in their similarities and their differences, I would be utterly intrigued to see 1) whether or not anybody would play along in the first place, and 2) just what they would deem worth taking a picture -of- to send back to some stranger. Furthermore, from the postal employees’ perspective, I bet it was pretty neat - I know -I’d- like it if someone unexpectedly showed a little interest in what I was doing, or if I got to play around with someone else’s camera strings-free …

At the bottom of the photos page, there is the following: “…apparently one of the women in it posed in playboy.
My mailman told me so, and as I recall, it’s not the one you’d suspect.”So which one of the ladies was in Playboy?

Okay, so the link is titled 11111001111, which I assumed would be some clever binary reference to the content of the site. Instead it’s simply this : รน
The camera trick is cool. It would be much cooler if the postal employees would take pictures of the steps it took to get there, maybe the neighborhood around them.

You couldn’t do this today without being shipped off to Guantanamo.

Do you really want to know more about the postal service? Just ask. Maybe they have tours.
Your life must be dull indeed if watching people sort mail makes it “more interesting”. -

It seems like it would be more fun if the mail-carrier took photots while he was delivering the mail, not just in the office.
But then again, how many of us have actually been in the back of the post office?
