Here’s Sony’s new commercial, Foam City, where the company blanketed the streets of Miami with loads of soapy foam to sell electronics. Yeah, I don’t get it either …

it goes with their ads for bravia, ‘color like no other.’ ostensibly, they’ve created a situation no one would believe, so you’d want to take shots of it.
I agree with cooties on this.
In a situation like this you want a good camera so you want a SONY camera.
This wasn’t actually planed by sony at all. The Miami health board was appaled at how dirty the local hippies had become so they scheduled this mas hippie bath. Sony just used the footage.
Definitely a couple notches below their Bravia ads. The superball one is still stunning to watch.
Spectacular happenings should be captured! This is the point! I LOVE this commercial! The part at the beginnign where the foam is held back by a large cloth and released – beautiful! I also love the simple piano music. I wish I was there!
beautiful. not as amazing as the superballs down the san fran hill, as has been mentioned, but still something that would be worth taking pictures of.
My favorite ad from sony has to be the paint pyrotechnics one where the have paint blown up and splashed all over this old housing building, now that is something worth filming
I’m sure they just swept everything into the ocean, where everything magically disappears.
To what end, Sony?
where are the barely clad bikini college girls playing in the foam? now THAT would convince me to buy a new camera!
sony ads are all well and good but the John West salmon advert rocks. check it out on youtube.
