   it wouldn’t be for paralyzed people. just people with limited use of their legs. granted it couldnt be used by many people in wheelchairs he still looks pretty cool.

   i once saw a motorised version, there were some people going up and down hills and allsorts, it was awesome i know which i’d choose

   Well, that’s just plain cool. Too bad I don’t have a wheelchair to stick one of these on!

   This would be great for older folks who don’t have the strength to walk to the corner store, but who might be able to pedal there (assuming this is as efficient as a regular bike).

   Actually, now that I think about it, this would be good for anyone who thinks regular bicycle seats are just plain uncomfortable!

   I saw the title as Pedolift when I first glanced at it. That gave the picture a whole different meaning.

    I’m suprised that no one realises that there are many people who using wheelchairs who CAN use their legs. They just might have difficulty standing for long periods, have dizzy spells etc.

    It needs ape hangers and a stretched out frame. Maybe some leather side bags. A skull that shoots out flame would be good on the front. And spinners, that would work ….

    I dig this. I was thinking of turning my wheelchair into a tricycle and decided to poke around google to see if anyone else had done it. Looks like someone has. A setup like this would be more comfortable than my mountain bike. It also might be easier to transport stuff via trailer of some kind.
