looks more like a bathtub. I like the idea of a beautiful game table, I dont think this is it though.

No glass cover?
chrome, fixed puppets?
no dampening on the rods?
I think this thing would be torn to shreds in a day, if you’d set some fanatic players loose on it..
(go to their site and watch the video, they play like little girls =] )Looks cool, but a “deutscher meister” table is what you want.

I love foosball! I used most of my childhood at the arcade playing those.

can anyone exlplain why it’s called foosball in the USA?
Over in the UK it’s table football, which is an exact description, and in Scotland it’s sometimes called
“babee foot” which is baby football.Anyway, as said upthread, there is no glass top to put your beer on and as there seems to be no rod dampening it doesn’t seem to comply with the bar room standards.
This where design so often falls down, it looks pretty but fails to perform.
see Phillipe Starks Lemon sqeezer etc etc

Probably called Foosball in the States/Canada because of the German spelling FooBball (with their funny capital B thingy giving it that pronunciation, what do you call that thing BTW?). Mind you, I’m fairly sure the Germans call it “Kickern”.

Form over function fails again.
The sides would propel the balls out like crazy.
