I find the attention to detail awesome…and disturbing.

On one hand, my first thought is “this guy has WAY TOO MUCH time on his hands”.
The second thought that follows that one right away is: thank the gods there are people out there who are passionate about something, anything, and are willing to put their time and talents to work to follow those passions.
WAY TO GO! -

While I think this is a beautiful model, I’m a little saddened that someone would put such modeling talent to such a tired subject. As someone who’s built numerous Star Destroyers (digitally) for various games, and as a former scale modeler myself, I appreciate the effort and care he’s put into this. But I can’t help but think how cool it would be to do something on this scale that was original, or from some story that hasn’t been widely told yet.

Ok large waste of time but you know what…that is very VERY COOL!
Great work! It’s people like that who will get to work at major movie studios. -

Props for doing it from scratch! Love the little tie fighters. Can’t wait to see it finished.

Ooh very nice! But I agree with artbot. It’s frustrating to see someone with obvious artistic talent creating another version of something that’s been seen before….

Dude admits on the web site he has too much time on his hands.
Good for him. It takes a lot of patience to do that. I also thought how interesting a Battlestar Galactica would be.
So what if it’s been done before - would you rather he made Louis Vuitton bags that looked like dogs?
