Calling All College Students!

The next College Weekend on mental_floss is rapidly approaching! That means I’m looking for contributors. Check out the link above to see what other scholars have contributed in the past and then send Stacy Conradt (that’s me!) an e-mail (collegeweekend@gmail.com) with your story ideas and writing samples. As the floss‘ Jason English says, writing for the world’s 9,938th most popular website (1,891st in the U.S.) is resume gold! Speaking of, if your article is published, you’ll also get a mental_floss t-shirt of your choosing. How’s that for a slice of fried gold?

    Well this seems to prove that there’s at least one college student out there who doesn’t spell it “collage”. A little hope, at least.

    Okay, someone point out the me the Shaun of the Dead reference, cause I’m not catching it. I LOVE that movie. Anyone know what song that was that they were singing outside of the pub, with Zombie providing background beat?
