  One of my dreams is to pack a small backpack and head North to Nunavut and observe the skies as the Auroras dance and I can see the stars in the sky for the very first time (born and lived as a city boy).

  I love the night. What I like about this selection of photos are the various ways to experience the night from light in fog to moon over water. One thing I do miss is the stars that were visible growing up. I haven’t seen a starfield like that in decades. Sadly, my children have never seen a night sky filled with the Milky Way.
