We have no problems about aiming our vehicles at the poor little blighters on our roads (not that I do), but throw one at a 15 year old and the world spits spines (get it?...spits tax?...The wife said not to comment)!

From what catsvillage had to say, about the critter being alive, I think that animal cruelty charges should be filed... with extreme prejudice.

I own hedgehogs and it HAD to be alive when thrown in order to have made puncture wounds, it puffs up when threatened, rolls into a ball causing the quills to stick out. DAMN I hope they charge this IDIOT with animal cruelty as well. Poor Hedggie and kid, that musta hurt.

wonder if it was the kid's hedgehog, even more cruel...

Poor hedgehog. Wonder if they could autopsy it and charge him for animal abuse, too, if it wasn't already dead when it was thrown (but then why did he have a dead hedgehog...?).
