Japanese Homewares (That You Can't Get in the United States)

Apartment Therapy LA Blog has a neat post about some homewares from Japan (that unfortunately, you can’t get in the United States). This one above, a dining room set called Cube Style, is very cleverly designed for small apartments (as you probably know, space is at a premium in Tokyo)

If someone knows about how to work with wood i think that person can somehow construct it in the US, too. or in Europe, for all that matters... or anywhere :) very convenient for guests, but not comfy enough for me.

Jonathan: when I move, I'm going to get lots of beanbags :D but for guests, this principle is very cool. one that involves a bed would be even better :)

Widen the slots a little and you can add "toilet" to its list of functions.
