Ah, thanks!! The legendary Rolling Stones made it to Neatorama at last! They’ve been my favourite rock & roll band since they started off playing rhythm & blues in small dinghy clubs back in the early Sixties & I still have some of their early vinyl LP recordings in my collection.

What I find amazing is the number of combined man hours they’ve spent endlessly recycling and regurgitating the same old tropes and figures over and over, nary once finding a spark of innovation or daring to transcend any boundaries.
Easily one of the most overrated entities in modern culture.

People people people, don’t be too smug about old folks, because your time will come, and you’ll say to yourself, “holy crap, how did that happen”. And it will come MUCH sooner than you think. It’s amazing how fast one’s 30s and 40s go by, thankfully I still have a couple of years left in the former decade.
Congratulations Sir Mick, next year you can start collecting your gubmint pension.

For centuries people have looked for the Philosopher’s Stone. It is said to turn led into gold and keeps you young. The ‘Stones’ have found it! It’s called ‘Rock’ and Roll!
