		<description>No extras in the series as far as I&#039;m aware. I think I recall correctly that he had nasty legal battles with syndicates from day one. I&#039;m sure that made quitting easy. And from what I&#039;ve read, he really put an inordinate amount of time (and energy) into C&amp;H. I&#039;m sure he couldn&#039;t wait to live a relaxed retired life, with no deadlines, no editors, no syndicates, etc.

I do agree that he was in his prime. I hope he&#039;s writing at all; pen-and-paper journaling, anything. I hold this guy in the utmost respect, and I hope he knows how beloved he is. This man did more to educate me than public school ever did.

A very depressing day in my life was the day I finished the last book. Knowing that I&#039;d read *every* Calvin and Hobbes ever made...I mourned them as if they&#039;d died.
