I’m stunned.
All those fans can’t tell how rancid his impressions are? Don’t they have CDs in Canada, France, Australia, etc? He sounds similar in some ways to the stars he’s impersonating, but overall, he deserves a grade of “C” at best.

I’d say that was pretty impressive.. Especially that We are the World -stuff; quick switches from voice to voice and immediately catch that certain style.

I didn’t know he was still performing. He was with Just for laugh for a while… I remember watching TV one night and they were talking about his drinking problem.
( Maybe i’m mixing things up with another celebrity from around here because I can’t find anything about it on the web… it was a long time ago. )

it seems like he’s making a comeback… I haven’t seem him for a while, but a little less than a month ago, he did a show at my college (my cegep actually) (I’m in jonquière, QC, you can go check it up). I was curious to go, but at 49$, I would rather go see a good band.

He had a few that were passable, but most of them were horrible. Must not be a lot of competition where he’s from, eh?

Here’s a much better act; Terry Fator is a ventriloquist that does singing impressions.
Here’s one video of him on you tube:

That’s the thing about with Quebec stars. You don’t have to be particularly good to be popular. It’s like Europe - slim pickings.

Because most US or Canadian stars are popular because they are very good? Oh yeah, you’re right, I forgot about Bryan Adams and April Wine….
That being said, this video is definitely ancient and not the best showcase of what he could do…. (don’t know if he still can)… and (deservedly or not) he was pretty big around the world for a while. Sic transit gloria mundi

just one more vote for “wow he sucks”

Alright, some were good, most impressions were not that good at all. But love seeing Lionel Richie’s expression, talk about forced and fake!

Canada has slim pickings because of a smaller population.
Most Canadian stars with any sense go to Hollywood to become US stars.Quebec - still a part of Canada - has even slimmer pickings because of the language barrier and anti-USA/ anti-English snobbery.

André-Phillipe is good but I quickly got bored with his act. Just like any other impressionist I suppose.
One of his talent that always impresses me is when he does the sound of a saxophone
