Chuck Norris Action Jeans.
As seen on MC Gilles.
I feel like I saw this recently…
In any case, am I the only one who don’t think that doesn’t look much like Chuck Norris? I guess that what happens with aging…
What’s up with this post, Excellent? I fail to see what it has to do with the McGilles website it’s linked to. (If you would, please write a text description to the post as well).
Just put the direct link to the MC Gilles blog post where there’s the Chuck Norris Actions Jeans.
reminds me of the Gal’s Panic track back in the day

(track 17)
Wow, that’s bizzare. A Gals Panic reference? One of my best friends was the drummer for those guys.
I *remember* these things! They were in the back of all the martial arts magazines in the late 80s. They were supposed to let you do high kicks, and still look great^Was great as Chuck Norris.
Does anybody know if they *worked*?
From this and his other recent contributions it seems like “Excellent” is less than excellent at authoring posts here….
btw – I’d post more myself, but I’m busy – sorry!
i’ve been trying to find an image of that ad for over five years now, and in the last few months it seems to have popped up everywhere. excellent. i was one of those kids in the 80s who was in Tae Kwon Do, loved Kung Fu Theater, and bought issues of Black Belt Magazine. every month that zine and others like it ran that ad. hilarious.
Lighthill – I’m no Karate Kid, bought them for just general wear, better range of motion. For me they had absolutely no problems. I’d buy again, my recollection is that the material was also lighter weight than my JC Penny Plain Pockets of the time.
(I used to call them JC Penny Poverty Pockets).
Weren’t they also called the Anti-Hard On jeans or something like that, cos it hurt to get one?
