None of the 3 laptops in my house (XP/SP2, Vista and Vista Ultimate) will play these episodes, either, and I'm in the US. Click play, the display flickers, then it offers the option to replay. This is why CBS has been getting trampled in the marketplace for years now--their offerings are always just about ready for prime time but not quite. Thanks for nothing, CBS!
