To Eat or Not to Eat

150_chocolateWe read the latest research on our favorite foods, and the findings are often contradictory over time. First, this is good for you, then it’s bad for you, then good again. The truth is, most foods are fine in moderation. This article gives both the good and the bad news about some of your favorites: chocolate, coffee, eggs, beer, and more. Link -via Digg

    How interesting that for beer and wine, intoxication is listed under the “bad” news.

    Well, that’s it. I’m swearing off food and beverages. I’ll live forever!

    Listening to what so-called experts say about what’s good or bad for you is bad for your health.

    The whole concept of scientists telling us whether or not something is good or bad, or if global warming exists is kind of funny. All I can say is that people were drinking “laudenum” back in 1880 and it was considered good for your health but by today’s standards it’s basically a heroin cocktail.

    Just eat when you are hungry and excersize when you can, and if you get the sniffles go to the doctor and stay away from those 5-day flu “cocktails”: they wreck your immune system and it’s all in the good name of medical science.

    @Ray

    Yeah, let’s throw out years of scientific research and consensus, millions of hours of careful testing and observation and the accumulated knowledge of most of the best thinkers the human race has yet to produce because Laudenum was a product that was rushed to market before people knew what it would actually do to your health.

    You know, “Scientists” also want you to think that fire is hot. Don’t believe a word of it.
