Flashlight Machine Gun

Clearly this will be the hot toy for Christmas 2008. Here’s Magpul Industries official site, which is worth the trip for a fun desktop wallpaper. Via StrategyPage.

Usually when I’m taking out the garbage or walking my dog, I think to myself, “it’s too bad i don’t have a machine gun/flashlight on me right now.”

What kind of trouble is he thinking he is going to find while ‘walking the dog’ exactly?

Unless he’s a drug lord, perhaps.

And ‘walking the dog’ means ‘making a drop in an abandoned warehouse filled with goons’

That´s what happens when you live in a very controlled rent condo… in the middle of Sarajevo!
Next step, grenade launching poop scoopers…

I have to say, it does look like a toy.

Nerf should make a version of that gun.

my only problem with that is that guy is so excited over it and he’ll probably never ever shoot anybody.

    Wait….
    Hold on a sec….
    Almost got it….
Just two more unfolds and a few more snaps…
Still working on it - hold your fire…
OK….NOW we can have our gun fight.

Yeah, hard to believe they’re not going to waste any more time on producing that hinky piece o crap.

The gun prototype seems nifty, if you’re into that sort of thing (what the hell kinda neighborhood is he walking his dog in where anyone could potentially afford a gun like this? Oh, right!).

The best thing about this is Sgt. Jaw-beard. C’mon, this guy is the best thing to hit the ‘net since surprised prairie dog! “Gits nasty - git down to bid-nez” is my new mission statement.

First, it’s not a machine gun. At it’s heart, it’s just a standard Glock pistol.

Secondly, they have no plans to make it. It’s simply to show what the company can do, just like a concept car shows what a car company can do.

Third, many people who aren’t drug lords need a means of self-defense, if even from another dog. Getting your ass kicked or killed can happen just as easily when walking your dog as it can when walking down an alley if your not paying attention to your situation.

Finally, that gun is no more or less dangerous than any other firearm. The implication is that is is somehow more dangerous or scary, when in reality it is just a pistol with a flippy stock. Really, not a big deal at all.

only in the US people can even THINK of having a gunfight while taking out the garbage.

peaceableness is for wimps - true men shoot first & ask questions later!

After that thing is produced, I think you’ll see more and more crazy people shooting and taking innocent lives for no reason at public areas… Hmmm, what fun!
