Olla Podrilla Puzzle

Olla Podrilla

Here’s a jigsaw puzzle with people and animals as puzzle pieces. You can turn them around and see how they fit together. When you find pieces that fit, they will stick so you can manipulate them together. I found it quite fun! There are many more pieces than are shown here; the two I put together are just a hint. That took me almost 1/2 an hour. Am I puzzly-challenged?

A similar software I've used for a couple of years allows you to make puzzles of your own pictures. You control how many pieces, how they are shaped, and can actually send mystery puzzles to friends to solve before they can see the completed picture you send.

Get Jigsaw Puzzle 2 Entry, about $9.95. It comes with 5 of their puzzles. Higher prices gets more of theirs. I just use my own photos to make my puzzles. You pick through yours off your hard drive, fix the numbers and shapes, and off you go! Very entertaining. It too allows each section to rotate as pieces come together. Makes a fun, solid "click" when a piece matches up. Addictive!

I had a cardboard version of one of these when I was a kid. It was tricky at first, but once you did it a couple of times, it was easy.
