Ah, next we’ll see Piraro’s take on nooses, and the humour in lynching black men.
This would probably only offend those who are looking for offense, but you’d think he’d exercise a little common sense. The scenario itself is unclear, and her comments do litle to explain the situation she’s in. Not well planned out.
Maybe if she said, “You guys look more like the Village People than the Pillage People.”

Let’s all observe a moment of silence for all the overly sensitive babies who have been butt-hurt by a cartoon, and let’s hope their declarations of never returning to this site are kept.
With that said, my opinion of the cartoon is as follows: BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Why is Bizarro always posted? They’re about as funny as Garfield. There are so many funnier comics out there like xkcd or theWAREHOUSE or thingpart!.
Anyway, I think this one is at best, mildly offensive and frankly unoriginal.

Bizarro is rarely funny, and is definitely undeserving of the reserved slot it gets on this site.
This one’s particularly bad. You should be ashamed of posting content like this, not only because it’s a load of homophobic garbage, but also because your sense of humor is obviously terribly broken.

Yes, some people are more sensitive than others. But they have to put up with hearing “that’s so gay” as a derogatory term so much, they don’t find humour in this. Just as many black people didn’t find humour in that reporter’s lynching comment about Tiger Woods. It wasn’t meant to be a put-down, but it was construed as such.
Although I don’t think Piraro meant to, this cartoon puts down gay people. Is that a good thing?
I didn’t find humour in this cartoon, because I think it was poorly written. Her comments simply don’t work well.

a) the joke is not funny
b) if you are not offended, the joke is still not funny. if you are offended, you have plenty of good reason to be. if you are not offended, and don’t understand why someone else is, substitute your orientation, race, or religion (“black”, “Jewish”, etc.) in the place of “gay”.
c) who on the neatorama staff is sleeping with the creator of Bizarro that the comic gets featured here weekly? do you all just really love Bizarro? is there one of your writers who just thinks it’s the greatest thing on earth?

Im very offended. This is an insult to pirates everywhere. Did I ask to be born a pirate? No, this is how God made me.The level of hate is ridiculous. We arent allowed to adopt, most places wont let pirates marry each other and people get really uncomfortable if they see us pirating in public.I suggest that gays that were offended get together at some central location and wet their panties in protest.
