Caption Monkey 22: X-Files, the Intersection

All right, guys, it's time for this week's Neatorama and Hobotopia's Caption Monkey game. Today's prize is Adam "Ape Lad" Koford's excellent book Meet the Laugh-Out-Loud Cats. (Congrats to Andini who won the last game, will it be your turn today?)

In this book, Adam compiles the adventures of Kitteh and Pip (over 250 comic panels' worth) alongside comments from Aloysius Koford and never-before-seen drawings. If you like Adam's old-timey LOLcat cartoon, this book is a must-have.

Contest rules are darned simple: To win, simply submit the funniest caption. Place your caption in the comment section - one caption per comment, please, but you can submit as many as you can think of.

Good luck (and if you don't win, you can still get Adam's book at Lulu)

Update 3/6/08 - congrats to the winner SenorMysterioso #38 who wrote:

At first the city planners thought it was a good idea, but after retail values plummeted on Cancer Man Lane and Pointless Space-Bee Drive, it was too late for the Ottawa office to redo the signs.

(I've got a sneaking suspicion that I recognize the sign-style and logo as being from my current home of Ottawa.)

That's definitely Ottawa. Like, I'm looking out my window at one of those same style signs. I really hope the whole development is x-files or scifi themed. That would just about make my day.

I wouldn't be surprised warchild. There are other developments that follow themes. I recall one college friend living in a development where all the streets were named after knights of the round table.

As for a caption - give the prize to the girl in the photo. I doubt any of us could beat the caption already there.

"Unable to explain the situation to the elderly couple, the police left assuring Mrs. Thompson that the young woman on their front lawn was not in fact, a vampire hooker."

Analysis of this photo by The Lone Gunmen clearly shows the reflection of a saucer shaped UFO in the bedroom window above the walkway and a werewolf head on the bench by the front door. A close up view of the little girl and her sign showed that the photo had been digitally manipulated. When they ran the photo through top secret decryption software, The Lone Gunmen found that the little girl was actually a grey skinned alien with bug eyes and the sign actually read "the truth is out there'.
