We knew it! The cuddly, giggly Elmo has a dark side:

With a squeeze of its fuzzy belly, the Sesame Street character now says, in a sing-song voice, "Kill James." "It’s not something that really you would think would ever come out of a toy," said Melissa Bowman, James’ mother. "But once I heard, I was just kind of distraught."

The Elmo Knows Your Name doll, which connects to a computer to learn certain phases and names, recently ran out of battery power, Bowman said.

What did she expect after buying a toy called Elmo Knows Your Name doll?

why doesn’t she just plug it back in to the computer and reload its dictionary, instead of waving it around at the press?

Watched the video, couldn’t understand what it was supposed to be saying. Someone at her home had to type that into the computer, probably just won’t admit it now that it’s a news story.

Elmo is Satan, by the way.

Elmo is a saint - you only think he’s Satan because of his connection with fire.

Sounds like mom’s itching for a lawsuit.

I think you can program in the name of your kid, but then Elmo “takes over” from there … Must’ve been some special programming on this particular one.

I hear they have a new model Elmo: Waiter Elmo.

He says things like “S*** my D***, F***face”.
