Diff’rent Strokes Indeed: Gary Coleman’s Secret Marriage

Gary "Whatchu talkin’ bout Willis" Coleman, the 40-year-old star of Diff’rent Strokes TV series, got married secretly last year, to a woman half his age and twice his height!

Coleman, who is only 4’8” tall, admits that this is the first “romantic relationship” he has participated in. “I never got the opportunity to be romantic or feel romantic with anyone…I wasn’t saving myself, she just happened to be the one.”

Price, who stands over 5’7” tall, tells INSIDE EDITION height was never a factor in their relationship. “He was ten feet tall to me because he was sweet and I really liked his personality. That doesn’t really matter to me.”

Coleman echoes Price’s sentiment when it comes to their age difference telling INSIDE EDITION, “I don’t have issues with age, I have issues with intelligence…She’s more intelligent then I am and that’s what matters to me.”

The couple also shares the reason they say they kept their marriage a secret. Price says, “I just want my own identity as well because I don’t want to be known as Gary Coleman’s wife.”

    Not to be picky but 4′ 8″ x 2 is not 5′ 7″ - she is not twice his height. It would have been more entertaining if he had married 9′ 4″ woman.

    Good on him. I hate how the paparazi swarm over events like this, turning people into side show attractions. Please do the world a favor and stop reading gossip magazines.

    Simply means its the first girlfriend / wife he’s ever been INTIMATE with.

    You can be intimate with somebody without being in a relationship with them. Casual sex, prostitutes, one night stands etc…

    The Inside Edition story seemed all cute until you get down further in the article where it says they don’t talk to each other for weeks on end. It also mentions he gets violent and throws thing at her! That is a bit of a tone change. The article goes from wedding to domestic violence in a few paragraphs. sad…

    Bizarre. It really does say that.

    Funny thing is this 22-yr-old whose claim to fame is selling memorabilia on eBay, says she’d rather be remembered for that than for being his wife.

    And 5′7″ is teeny.

    He is a real 40 year old virgin? Does he not have a friend to hold him up? Can’t he afford a chair to stand on?

    Kinda like a small male dog going after a large female dog. All he gets is air and fur in his face. :)
