Ghost of a Roman Soldier?

Posted by Alex in Paranormal on February 15, 2008 at 4:32 am

While out walking along a footpath in Outwood, England, George Gunn shot a video clip – later, he saw something peculiar in it: a ghostly image of a Roman soldier.

May I be the first one to yell the always necessary "Fake, photoshop, and ghosts don't exist" mantra?

What always makes me wonder about those videos - if he didn't see the ghost until AFTER watching the film, what was he doing filming a boring spot int he first place?

    Seems fake.
Did the joggers not see it? If you were jogging and saw an apparition - would you run through it?

Whatever this is, we can be sure of one thing. It isn't a ghost.

COME ON... can't BBC provide better quality video?

You got to search for the freakin link of the video for hours and then all you see is a 4cm x 4cm screen.

The ghost in this video could be a blue plastic bag or smoke for all I know.

Here's a hint BBC: Next time you make a report on ghost sighting have something that look more like this.

"Ah, these English people and their ghosts ………."

There are holidays on this planet where people expect ancestral ghost visits, and it's not in english countries.

Brits have been taking these type of photos for over 100 years.

Go rent the neat little Brit film "Fairy Tale: A True Story" (1995)
    http://imdb.com/title/tt0119095/

Peter O'Toole plays Arthur Conan Doyle, Harvey Keitel plays Harry Houdini; a look into the famous 1900's 'fairy photos' taken by some little girls in the English countryside.

(the real girls later admitted in their old age they faked the photos with cardboard cutouts...)
