    If the universe is always expanding, and this is the farthest star that we know about, and that in itself took 13 billion years to reach us - we know that the universe has to be a least 13 billion light years wide - but what is actually the size of the universe now, 13 billion years later?

    And where is that galaxy now? Or 5 billion years ago? Is it possible to see it on more than one position? Could it even be our own galaxy? Are all galaxies maybe one galaxy on different positions in time?

    Wouldn’t it blow your mind if you found out that all those objects in that picture ceased to exist and the great black void is slowly approaching us!? :o
