This is architecture of the absurd (there is a book of the same that is fun to read about such places). If you look at some of the greatest architectural houses such as Wright’s Falling Water, they are not absurd and sometimes economical to build (one the FLW’s obessions was to make economical houses). This house is 2 dimensional like a Klien surface – I wish architects would get over “being artistic” and instead being creative.

I would live in that house. I think it’s neat that a design that simple and unembellished can effectively represent a concept as complex as the Klein bottle.

Bayat: I bet you that the hoity-toity architect that designed it charged triple the price of a normal house, used twice the amount of normal materials necessary, and ended up with half the livable space. A bunch of slanty walls and ceilings make for a very disorienting experience, something I most would not want to live in. I hate modern design, it’s always gaudy and sharp, with no real advantage over traditional design, and as I mentioned earlier – since it’s so “trendy” is far more expensive. It’s my opinion, I don’t know why people get so bent out of shape when somebody doesn’t agree with them.

I have been inside that house!…. but since it is a klein bottle, we have all been inside it.
