These thumbnails only hint at how charming these cards are. They’re available for download here.

I’m taking my lady out to lunch at the best pizza place in Los Angeles. Anyone planning something particularly romantic?

My wife and I refuse to do Valentines Day. A made-up ‘celebration’ at which flower prices double and you can’t book a table at your favourite restaurant? Sounds like BS to me. Why not (randomly, as a surprise) celebrate your love for each other during the rest of the year. Or are you a drone? Your call. YMMV.

I’m surprising my girl two days before V-day by taking her to a cooking class at the local Central Market. It’s on how to use chocolate in different ways and in each course of a meal. It’s an ok idea I guess, and on the actual V-day, aka D-day, we are going to stay in and watch a movie of her choice. She agreed that there’s no point in fighting the masses this one day when we love surprising each other on a regular basis.

I like holidays but I have some bad mojo or something. Those romantic things never pan out. I did the pottery thing, cabaret concert, nice dinner, evening in St. Augustine and something crazy always happened. Now we just do the big stuff around the holidays instead of on it, make dinner at home, and spend time together.

My boyfriend and I switch off on who’s “doing” Valentine’s Day. My turn this year - I am makin ghis favorite dinner at home with chocolate souffles for dessert.
I think it helps a lot of guys to have a specific romantic day since many (by no means all) of them are a little less romantically inclined than their female counterparts.

My wife and I will celebrate Walentine. It’s the day after Valentine, when we can celebrate our love and our money goes twice as far. ;)

    You people have no souls.

Every greeting card day is all about the hype.
