14 Uses for Orphan Socks

By Miss Cellania in Home & Garden on Feb 8, 2008 at 8:51 am

150sockPlanetgreen has a list of 14 things you can do with “orphaned” socks, i.e. socks that have no mate. Many of these ideas have links to instructions, such as these puppets from Treehugger. But be warned: if my experience is any indication, doing any of these things will cause the sock’s mate to finally show up. Link -via Lifehacker

I filled one with rice (okay… my wife did it) and microwaved it for about a minute. It made a great heating pad you can use over and over again.
