Oh no, that hurts my soul! The Sound of Music songs are so delightful! Heh, actually, I got dragged to a ‘Sing-Along Sound of Music’ event at a theater once, kicking and griping the whole way, but I don’t think they even finished the first number before I was belting out those tunes with relish right along with everyone else - they’re just that uplifting and irresistible!
Now that I think about it, though, how long WOULD TSoM be without the songs? Would it even make it to 30 minutes? 45? Surely those movie-goers must have known they’d been had?
