There's the Mouse!

Posted by Alex in Advertising on February 3, 2008 at 4:02 am

UK design agency johnson banks created this clever "mouse" for an upcoming ad for Microsoft. It took me a while to see what they did there! Link – via JoeGoodness

NOW I get it! It took me ages to actually see where the mouse was! Looking at it now, it's kind of a "Duh!" reaction... :o )

It is like those "Jesus" signs that take ages to see

Maybe it's cause I've taken graphic design classes and stuff, but I definitely saw it instantly, and also don't really think it's that special. Lots of logos are clever like this. The only thing about this design I really admire was the creative approach to using the copyright symbol as part of the logo, instead of just as a little tag on at the end.

Reminds me of that post we had about the hidden logos and characters like FedEx's famous arrow and such.

I saw the mouse right away. I'm silly that way.

I'm a graphic design student too. saw it right away and LOVE it. Really creative and well thought out. Every teeny bit counts.

I saw it instantly as well, but because of the post along with it I stared at it for a while trying to find what they said took a long time to see. Oops.
