Looks like Miss Sparkle set fire to the forest.
What a stupid concept.

There is an artists who does a similar thing with jewelry. She would turn a child’s drawing into a silver pendent. very cool!

link wasn’t working for me when I tried (maybe too much traffic). But I wanted to point out, that this isn’t a “new” idea. Dave Devries made the rounds on the internet years ago with this idea. I imagine this photographer simply saw someone elses idea and decided to profit.
http://themonsterengine.com/art.htmlDon’t you hate it when someone steals your idea?

What the hell are you talking about? Dave Devries does drawings, Yeon Doo Jung uses photography. I personally think it would be harder to stage these and take photos than to draw them. In any case, it’s not a rip-off, it’s a completely different medium.

Nothing says “art” like some kids scribbling turned into a crappy photo.

I wonder how this person would interpret my one year old daughter’s lines and circles. I would have said maybe train tracks…the map of downtown…spaghetti…That would be awesome.

The “afternoon nap” picture was really cool.
