And one of them is just a kaleidoscopic picture of a dragonfly. Also, since technical relevance is part of the judging, you'd think they would include some description of the images -- especially the grand prize winner. Personally, I wasn't particularly struck by the image, but if you gave be a taste of the science behind it, I may be better able to appreciate it. Some of these are pretty cool, but some of them look like the sort of thing that goes into biological journals all the time. And one of them is just a kaleidoscopic picture of a dragonfly.
